Everyone knows the best way is to down them in one piece
Come on, you might as well just eat a block of cheddar.
I’m not seeing the problem here 😄
So in this Universe, the exploitation of animals’ bodies for frivolous purposes parallels ours. Human-like cows get strapped down into rape racks (industry term, not mine) and nine months later, have their children ripped away, psychologically ruining them. For string cheese.
Yup.
You’ve never been on a dairy farm if you think cows are “ruined” by calves being removed.
For one thing, it isn’t instant. For another, they just don’t care. Cows don’t just mope around. They continue being cows, with no personality change at all. They’ll still come right up to you, get brushed or scratched, they don’t run around looking for the calf, they aren’t even mooing and calling for them.
Like, I get that you’re pounding your pulpit, but why do it with malarkey?
They don’t care? Cows can cry. Did you even know that? Cows can cry actual tears down their face. When a calf is taken, they fucking know. Cows bear one child in nine months. They are herd animals; herd animals are even more socially sophisticated than mere social animals like humans. THEY FUCKING KNOW. We KNOW they know because the fucking cry and bellow for weeks or months when their child is taken.
This is what it looks like when a cow cries for her lost child.
Do they get over it? I know humans who have lost children. They go on but they are different. Yeah, the cow manages to keep being exploited by the dairy, but to think they don’t take any harm is delusional.
The lies you tell yourself are unconvincing to others. Imagine thinking a fucking mammal like yourself, that spends nine fucking months bearing a single child, does not care about their child. Like what fucking brainwashing does a person have to endure to believe shit like that.
Anyway, I was clearly talking about the anthro-cows from the comic strip. Like the anthro-pig in this one.
Dude, I’ve helped birth calfs. multiple times. There’s never, not once, been a difference between when the calf stays and when it’s taken.
