      haha I was wondering the same. The sign is very robust and aggressive, so I wondered if there were earlier versions people still ignored.

    It’s not about the 1-2 meters you don’t have to walk, it’s about the sharp turn. That wears your soles down and slows you. Can’t have that. If they’d adapted and created banked corners, people would follow their path for sure.

    Cool of them to provide a sign that gives you a tiny rebellion high. The city must really value civil disobedience.

    Problem is, the path leads into a fence. Or at least that’s what it looks like to me from the angle in the photo?

      Doesn’t it directly lead to the pedestrian crossing?
