They don’t know about TC69 thought
WE LITERALLY HAD A THREAD CLINGING ONTO YESTERDAY WHERE WE (HEXBEAR AND LEMMYGRAD USERS MAINLY) HAD TO BEAT BACK VISITING LIBERALS EN MASSE FOR THEIR CONDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR TRANS PEOPLE, YOU SMUG FUCK
I’m so fucking tired of these egocentric smarmy pricks
I’ve been holding this in, but now I’m officially swayed that federating has been a mistake.
As soon as users are able to block entire instances, reactionaries will post hot takes, they won’t able to see any of the responses dunking on them because the responses are all from users on an instance they blocked, and it will be very funny
I blocked a lib on my post yesterday and was very confused by the notifications I was getting in response.
Yes. Yes. Finally. Our ranks grow and our power expands.
Same, i will seriously leave this site if we don’t at least get local-only comms soon, and even then i have to see how onboardig all these new cishet lib users will change things. Could’ve stayed on reddit if i wanted the garbage that makes up this site atm, even if i sort by local it’s just threads like this. It’s so grating. I don’t recognize this place anymore.
We do have the locals only comm now!
We do, but the mods have to manually ban people from other instances posting there. We’re not at the point yet where we can defederate a part of the site so we have a members only space, but the devs are working on that and it’s supposedly not even particularly difficult.
once we reopen registrations i do intend to lead a campaign across every trans space online to drag more trans people here. but i assume itll be a bit till they release the next update for that.
Be unfortunate to see you go, but annoying libs and fascists are definitely annoying
Yeah I voted wrong tbh
I felt this way like a week in. It’s exhausting and annoying to play educator, debator, or scolder. I don’t like that these new interlopers conflate dogma and wikipedia for reality and fact.
Sometimes you have to do stuff and see how it works out, even if it is a mistake it is often important to have done.
