          Not even that successful.

          The average value of the goods which were confiscated from the kulaks during the policy of dekulakization (раскулачивание) at the beginning of the 1930s was only 170–400 rubles (US$90–210) per household.

            This is something you still see today with the far left, r/newzealand has a few cookers like that. They rage against the middle class, while the billionaires screw us all.

            So incredibly stupid and short-sighted.
