Bit of an off topic thing but just think about how much culture and religion we have lost just through the passage of time. We like to think of cavemen as these unga bunga type of guys who were all named grog but they had traditions just like we did.

The closest thing we still have would be native american believes. Imagine if we just lost all of that. But we did, hundretfold, with only blurry afterimages left
