      Supposedly instances can put it so there are no downvotes, only upvotes so i wonder how that works with this.

      Also while i think votes should by default cover all of lemmy it would be cool to see instance and community subscriber votes seperately.

    Yes, they’re from the whole fediverse… well, at least from everyone that’s federated with that instance, saw the post, upvoted and/or commented.

    It flops back and forth. It tries its best to keep up, but at any given time it’s reflecting … some number of Instances. I imagine this will be improved with further development.

    It is really buggy right now, even with 0.18.0 I think there is still the bug that an edit of a comment bumps up the comment count. I’ve been fetching the actual comments off servers and it is often off.
