That assumes that 1) “They” know what education you need for that, which may or may not be the case, and 2) that they don’t have some other reason to need you to have that education, such as a job that they need to be done that by nature requires such knowledge.

And if you follow the logic of the written caption, those who have overthrown others, often purge those who may have the education to overthrow them. They also then do the exact same thing Linus says to Marcie Lydia.

Is that why so many conservatives have been home schooling?

Public schools generally suck, and not just because some disagree with the curriculum

Why would a billionaire inconvenience themselves for meaningless amount of money?

Billionaires don’t hate you. They don’t think about you at all.

I remember a thing from Finland. We have conscription. I remember that it was rumored during the 70’s or something that communists told people to go do their conscription and to try to achieve NCO and officer ranks as a preparatory school of sorts for revolution. Not sure if it was always just wild anti-communist rumours but the myth has lived on.

Would not be surprised. Revolutionary education had always been part of more left-wing radical movements in the country. They didn’t call Työväen akatemia that without a reason when it started.
