I woke up at 5am and for the next 20 panic soaked minutes, I refreshed the app and the web to finally nab one by Friday. Apple royally broke pre orders this year so I guess count yourself lucky you didn’t fight through that crap
Oh I was frantically refreshing myself. It said I could pick it up at the Apple Store in 9/22 but then wouldn’t let me purchase the phone with that option. This was the worst pre-order I’ve ever experienced with Apple.
Canada here. Woke up at 5:10am pst. App was down. Refreshed like mad. Didn’t get an order in until 5:45pst. 15 pro max. Still delivering Sept 22 in Canada. They must have different stock set aside for each country.
I got in around 8:15 and my shipping window was already pushed back to October 4-7.
Did you order a pro max. I heard that initially they were going to delay it a week or so due to production delays, but then kept the same launch date.
I got in as soon as the pre order went live and got Oct 2-4 for mine. I wonder if they did a soft delay or something.
I did, so maybe that’s it. I wish they would have given the realistic shipping date in the presentation if this was the case.

Yeah people were reporting that they’d made a typo and got Oct 4 lol.
Honestly same. Others have been pretty smooth. Not sure what happens this year

I couldn’t break away from work and didn’t get my preorder in until 8:45. October 9-16.
I got in an hour later. Oct 4-9 on one, and 9-16th for the next :-/
