… so when the next night comes, you cant sleep again because of the coffee you drank during the day to stay awake. Sooooo… you drink more coffee the next morning becuse you only got 3 hours again

        Yes, exactly!

Then after awhile, get on some medication to treat your depression and manic episodes brought about by the lack of sleep.

Funnies aside, if you get better quality of sleep you might end up needing less than you currently do

Sadly the “trick” is just to do the things we all know we should do, like exercise, good eating habits, consistent sleeping schedules, etc. Also a lot varies from person to person, and some people sleep better at weird hours, like some people are just naturally night owls.

Meh, motivation is kind of a bad drive anyways, it always runs out, ideally you want to push through until it becomes a habit… Easier said than done tho, specially with depression which is like an invisible force that doesn’t let you do stuff (not to be confused with laziness).

I’ve found that begrudgingly doing stuff helps, at least in my case.

I have found I’m always at my best if I sleep around 5-6.5 hours. As I creep towards 8 I get more lethargic and wake up very cranky and inflamed.

Honestly one way is to dim and use very warm color lights a couple hours before bed. Or you can buy blue light blocking glasses. This way your body starts windng down and is ready to go into proper sleep.

I’ve tried approaching the speed of light while I sleep but every time I do the blue light wakes me up again.
