Former President Donald Trump said in an interview that he received counsel from numerous people shortly after the 2020 election but that it was his decision to push the false claim he won the election and try to overturn the results.
There it is, plain as day. He literally just admitted to his crimes.
And if he’d only contested the results through the legal means provided for that process instead of riling up a mob to go hang Mike Pence with the thinnest veneer of plausible deniability (if you squint hard enough), he’d have a lot less stress right now.
He had the same right to contest the election as did Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Al Gore in 2000.
