Electric vehicles are less likely to catch fire, but when they do, they are more difficult to contain.

Love how people complain about a car that instead of exploding, warns you it’s about to catch on fire, pulls over, and lets you exit the vehicle first.

Electric vehicles are less likely to catch fire

There have been more Tesla fire fatality deaths (95 deaths) than the Ford Pinto (27 official deaths).

This misinformation that Elon Musk echos and controls the public with is… interesting. You know, the Ford Pinto is that “Fight Club” scene. You see, the problem with the Ford Pinto wasn’t that they were wrong in their calculations, its that they didn’t have a Billionaire spreading misinformation on the internet about EV Fire safety.

This is all the “Fire Safety” you need to know about Teslas. A strike at the bottom of the vehicle WILL spark a flame in ways that makes the Ford Pinto look like a safe vehicle.

You can tell the difference between gasoline fire and lithium fire by the signature yellow (gasoline / carbon based fires) or red (lithium metal) based fires. What color was the first flareup?

It’s not that they are easier to catch fire. It’s that they ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO EXTINGUISH AFTER CATCHING FIRE. Dumbass.

From my god damn video: EV literally exploding upon jumping a curb.

This is a simple fact that we have video evidence of. You can try to misdirect or misrepresent facts, but we all know that gasoline tanks (outside of the lol Ford Pinto) weren’t as explosive as this.

Red Lithium frames just fractions-of-a-second after jumping the curb.

You’re the one who is trying to call “Literally more deaths than the Ford Pinto” a one off scenario.

Because the Ford Pinto didn’t lock its (electronic) doors when it caught on fire. At least people could ya know, open the door when that car started to explode. Its a bit different with Teslas and their electronic-only deathtrap.

But these are known facts over the years. Tesla ain’t changing their doors, Tesla ain’t changing their (explosive) chemistry. Etc. etc. But the stats continue to come in. These are relatively common occurrences (more common than Pinto at least) and more deadly to boot once all the data is tabulated up due to the shoddy door design of Tesla.

Because as it turns out: when the battery is on fire, electronics tend to stop working.

I just want the bullshit to end.

Stop pretending that there isn’t a fire problem. Li-ion fires continue to grow across the country, be it shitty Vaping devices, crappy scooters or yes, even Tesla cars.

The sooner we stop lying to ourselves, and others, the better we can move and prioritize safer technologies whenever they do appear.

I just want the bullshit to end.

Okay, then stop your bullshit. You’ve been proven wrong with statistics over and over again, your only argument is “well this one time”, and you refuse to listen to facts or the arguments from the other side.

You’re wrong, restating your info over and over does not make you any less wrong, and your attitude towards it is wrong.
