I am a former Marine Corps Combat veteran from the marines who has recently returned to the faith after a traumatic military service and the fact that many of my friends and family members came to Jesus in the last year. I would love to have our community and community support another former soldier who is seeking to return to God. It’s hard for me to give these three advice to the people I’ve known more or less for a long time, yet I have to come to you. I’ve been going to church and reading the scriptures for a couple months. I’m getting ready to do a class on Jesus’ life and death and how it differs from what you may think you know. This subreddit is a great place to ask questions and learn from you all. Thank you for the support!
It’s nice to hear you guys answer a question, especially to a former Marine who now has an opportunity to follow Buddhism in the future. That’s great.
What’s a good place to ask your questions?
Haha I’m not going to lie I’ve always been a guy who would tell people that I am more of a religious person.

EDIT: Thanks to /u/Camel_Face_Bot, I got a good reply on my first attempt. I hope this Reddit community supports my efforts.
I hope you all appreciate this. I know this subreddit has done an excellent job of inspiring me to be a true Muslim, as well as helping me understand, as to how to be a good Muslim.
