They are not dweep-sniffing dogs, are they?!
So many of these are just not funny. I don’t get it. I remember Far Side being somewhat funny. Overwhelmingly, the one’s I’m seeing here are not.
Larson had to draw 5 to 7 cartoons per week for 15 years. They’re not all of going to be winners. The classic great ones are but a small percentage of his overall body of work.
Thank you for that explanation. I think I thought they were looking like someone else’s work, given the lack of hilarity, and the day and age we live in now. But this makes sense. Again, thanks.

If that’s correct, Larson stopped this comic quite a while before you were born.

I opened the newspaper daily to his comics in the 90s. He retired 1995. Even if my birthday was 97 that’s not “a while before I was born”.
I think there doesn’t have to be a reason why someone would find this unfunny.
