Cube is a 1997 Canadian independent science fiction horror film directed and co-written by Vincenzo Natali. A product of the Canadian Film Centre’s First Feature Project, Nicole de Boer, Nicky Guadagni, David Hewlett, Andrew Miller, Julian Richings, Wayne Robson, and Maurice Dean Wint star as individuals trapped in a bizarre and deadly labyrinth of cube-shaped rooms.
I recently went through the entire series again. It was 100% worth it.
Cube 2: Hypercube is great. The first Cube will always be my favourite and Cube 3 is a nice riff on the 1st. But Cube 2 is so bad, you can’t help but love hating it.

It is a very entertaining time because it is so bad. Corny writing, way over the top deaths, a great bad suspense movie experience. Freddy vs. Jason is still the best bad horror movie, but Cube 2 is still a lot of fun.
