But it IS important to understand what’s happening because it’s not an isolated incident.
We do need to rethink how the the 90s cut media monopolization loose via the Telecom Act. It was the true beginning of the enshittification.

There is no need to coin a new, cute term for this. It’s just rent seeking. It’s nothing new, just in a slightly new form to match the technology.
