Very sad. I had really high hopes for him but he just never got there. Maybe some new scenary.
I remember thinking he looked like he’d become a 2-way stud at that draft. So hard to predict development.
Everyone was dragging Ottawa for picking Tkachuk over Zadina that draft. Going back to the draft thread on that one is hilarious in hindsight.
And it looks like he cleared waivers. Well, training camp will certainly be interesting. It’s a tough reality check for Zadina that no team thinks that he is worth a flyer with a lower than $2 million two year salary.
Too bad he was a major disappointment. Hopefully he finds a team that can rebuild his offense.
