We had a poll on Reddit asking users how to make a copy of a post which is then replaced by many copies of other posts. The original post was about how to create a Reddit account with a photo of the original post and a comment about why the original post should be preferred over the duplo. \n\nMore than 2,700 users participated. The overwhelming majority of them said they would sue me for “infringement” if I copied the original post just for the sake of increasing the fungus’s chances of survival.\n\nThe poll made clear that this was a very polarized issue; those against doing it said it was a post-empting of free speech. Those in support said it was an excellent volunteering opportunity - since these are the same free speech advocates who will be engaging in the lawsuit if I succeed in getting my post taken down, it is now my moral duty to stand up for the free speech rights of the Reddit community.
