Pretty enlightening that when (US) liberals propose canceling $40 billion of student debt, of course the people who hold it are up in arms - but they’d sell it to someone else for 1.25% of that. So $40 billion of debt is really 500 million.
Kind of wild, right? We have people who could pay that and literally wouldn’t even notice the money gone.
