I am hijacking this comment because I have a 4080 and overclocked my 12600K to fixed 5 GHz, DDR5 6800CL34. I did disable smt and e-cores and I play at 4k@120/144 Hz but so far did had no urge to upgrade. I think a used 12700K would probably make most sense because my 12600K has AVX512 enabled and I like to keep this in my upgrade. But also maybe it makes more sense just to use a 7800x3D.
Nothing unless you have a RX 7900XTX or 4080 or better
