        More of a blanket statement I saw when I see cats outside with no leash. It’s usually met with hatred/downvotes and stupid comments about how it’s ok because fluffy is x or y or whatever…

          Also, leash your damn dog. I really dont want to have to kick the shit out of a strangers dog if it attacks mine.

            Agreed, and I personally do.

            Dogs are typically required by law to be leashed, cats however have somehow skirted the legal requirement to ensure the animals safety and people just let them roam free.

            At least with an offleash dog, there’s a damn good chance the owner is nearby. Cats…you’ll never find the owner unless the things dead and you can actually read the collar or find the flyers that get plastered everywhere.

            Hoping and waiting for the laws to change so irresponsible cat ‘owners’ start getting fined for terrible behaviour that endangers the catand local wildlife.
