Is he an extremist or something? Just being religious shouldn’t be a big deal. Link something, I’m curious.

All Christians are disgusting? Or all people who don’t support abortions? (If it matters, I am neither religious nor pro-life) but I don’t have anything against people just practicing a religion. As long as it’s not damaging other people ofc.

But I feel like someone hurt you for you to be so damn angry about religion.

Ok sure, but who hurt you lol. I’m just as culpable for doing what exactly? I’m pro-choice and not religious. I just don’t hate other people for being religious. To be clear, I don’t support other people being anti-abortion as a part of their religion. Just in case that wasn’t clear. There are some religious people that just do it for their own happiness and don’t harm other people. They’re not all the same.

I don’t support anyone that feels it’s okay to take away a person’s control over their own bodies, religious or not.

You in that regard are just as bad as any cultist with the same stance on the matter.

You are guilty of perpetuating religious folk’s agenda’s by most likely voting for cultists since most normal people don’t think the right for abortion is something that should even be on the table for discussion .

Religion is nothing more than a tool to keep people meek and stupid.

People like you who claim to not be religious yet are pro life are… Vile.

Huh? Do you have reading comprehension issues? I very very clearly stated I’m pro-choice. I absolutely don’t support people who are anti-abortion. To get it through your thick head: I don’t support someone who takes away a person’s control over their own bodies, religious or not. I just don’t assume every religious person is pro-life and hate them for it. You’re a fucking moron.

Right. You’re dumb with anger, misread what people are saying (twice), get it pointed out to you, so someone that points it out must be inbred. Are you sure you’re not a fundamentalist Christian? Because you sure act like one.

So, according to his wiki link he seems to have a very reasonable position for someone who has that particular religious belief. Supposedly he has explicitly expressed his support for the right have abortions when the American Supreme Court repelled the law that guaranteed it. He also supposedly is a democrat voter, in support of the separation of church and state, and ashamed of current republicans.

For someone who is against abortion he seems to hold the most reasonable and supportive position possible.

He has a complex nuanced personal not fitting within either political extremes? Outrageous, not on my internet!

        Direct copypasta from this wiki:

In April 2019, a Twitter post by Pyle from 2017 resurfaced regarding the pro-life rally March For Life. According to some reporters, Pyle’s tweet expressed support for, or defended, March For Life. The tweet caused many fans to turn against Strange Planet and its creator, in a controversy described by at least one outlet as an example of the Milkshake Duck phenomenon.[23][24][25]

Pyle released a statement shortly afterwards which did not mention abortion, but said that he and his wife “have private beliefs as they pertain to our Christian faith. We believe separation of church and state is crucial to our nation flourishing.” He also stated they voted for the Democratic Party, and were “troubled by what the Republican Party has become and [did] not want to be associated with it.”[25][26][27]

In 2022, he posted to social media in support of Bernie Sanders’ tweet in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which called the decision “an outrage” and supported codifying Roe into law.[28]
