A bit off topic, but how many dislikes do you see, and what app are you using, or are you using the website? I couldn’t see any downvotes on kbin, or in jerboa when you posted.
Those appeared later. I’d like to learn more about how kbin/Lemmy work. It is possible that the dislike came from their instance, and it just took some time for kbin to update it, or possibly there are some dislikes from other instances that we can’t see here.
Dunno why you’re getting downvoted, you’re 100% correct.
They’re getting downvotes because the US does have moral high ground over Russia, easily.
The US has done horrible shit, and it’s not nearly as bad as Russia.
But we arent being compared to Russia here, rather Ukraine
