    Not really. In order to start a business, you need capital. That capital needs to be paid back and then some, otherwise no investment.

    Unless you want the government to fund it, and that money would have to be taken from somewhere else like schools or hospitals. Opportunity cost.

    That’s like saying you don’t need any savings because life will always be good. Are you happy with a pay cut when the business is on hard times?
