I thought Silver said after the finals because he didn’t want to distract, but who knows when the actual date is.

The fall of the Roman Empire… the sinking of the Titanic… And the 1958 Edsel. We don’t wanna say that Ja caused all these things. But it does make you think. Doesn’t it?>

He sat across from Sliver and said “I’ll clean up my act, no more embarrassing the league.” in exchange for a light punishment after his “rehab” stint.

Then he went and did exactly what he had promised not to do. Now he gets what should have been the consequences from that first incident and this most recent one probably with some extra for being a pain in Silver’s ass.

I doubt they uncovered much that we haven’t heard about already. Young dumb kid playing “hard” running around with a bunch of other morons trying to be “hard” and all it’s going to get them all is less money and some tough lessons.

I’m excited at the prospect of joining a new NBA community that isn’t just absolutely brutal to use as a Grizz fan lol. /r/nba became legitimately unusable for me this year.

Real answer is we can never know until Adam Silver stops cashing in on the earned media from teasing this out WWE style.

He was pointing a “lazer pointer” off screen during a live. People were saying the other people on stream weren’t happy. Speculation at the time was it was a gun with lazer sight and more liberal gun play. Then the silver ban news came out shortly after. But grain of salt its all NBA rumors until reported.

My guess? They confirmed that the red laser pointed at the Pacers team members was an actual laser sight. Actively threatening other teams’ players sounds like the type of thing that would finally cause Silver to come down hard.
