Not sure if it was like this pre-patch, and you can only store weapons and ammo, but it looks like weapon storage is unlimited.

A step in the right direction, if it is from the patch.

Absolutely a great change intentional or not.

Can you please raise your hand if you enjoy inventory limits? Personally I fucking hate inventory limits as a game mechanic everywhere - I never like being forced to play “Sort your bag of shit” when adventuring and having fun. I loathe it when it’s a “grid puzzle” (I.e. Diablo/Path of Exilr) and I loathe it when it’s by weight or count. It’s always a system that makes games less fun and I always jump on the opportunity to install “Unlimited Weight” mods and the like.

My hand is stuck to the floor lmao.

I understand why they did it in theory, but they should have realized in gameplay/action just how hindering and frustrating it is. Bethesda knows how people play their games, with chests full of all their stuff they’ve collected throughout their adventures. I can’t do that in Starfield unless I want The Lodge as my home base, which I don’t.

Not to mention that storing unlimited things in tiny ammo containers feels odd and strange. If you’re going to let me do that there, why not everywhere else?

@xmunk @Crikeste “Like” might be too strong, but I don’t mind inventory limits. I do think that most games feel too restrictive at the beginning. Starfield character inventory feels so much better (to me anyway) with maxed weightlifting and the weapon holsters effect.
