At the moment i have a 13700f and it looks like i have a cpu bottleneck with my current gpu (a 4090) and im not sure what would be the best option for upgrading since im also a bit flat on money now since i got my new gpu
Also im not sure if the prices here in my country are high but the 13900k is about 700 USD and the 14900k is about 800usd and the 14700k is about 500usd.
I wouldn’t upgrade unless you really need higher frame rates.
If you do upgrade, I’d buy the cheapest of the three as they’ll perform similarly. I would also consider the 13700k if you can save more.
You’ll need a substantial cooler especially if you want to overclock.
13700K vs 13700F is not worth the upgrade cost-wise. 14900K is the most cost-effective upgrade given it will yield 12% and 50% speed gains in single-thread and multi-thread applications, respectively
