Yup. There are definitely bad ways to go about scraping reddit posts. But if it’s done properly, there’s no reason to be upset about it. We get the content without needing to actually visit the site, and we also get the (generally much more friendly) comment sections.
We have plenty without that. I’ve blocked every single repost bot I’ve seen, also any actual person who reports from reddit. And I still have plenty of content.

Lol no, the guy pre-emptively blocks anyone who he knows came from Reddit. Those are two very different things.
I’m pretty sure that was a typo and he blocks anyone who reposts from reddit, not anyone who came from reddit.
That would still be strange, but it would be way less assholey.
