    > still using first person pronouns even after asking the reader to be them.

It’s nice to have someone accept you for who you are though.

I used to lurk on chans when I was 14-17y.o. Got my shit together and got a gf. Stop playing League, get rid of my toys, bought a bigger bed, start exercising and going to the gym. I hate the never happened mentality. People are protecting themselves from what? Being bamboozled? 4chan people aren’t the worst around since Discord start being a used. Better control, roles, levels of trust, etc. Anyway, it’s not difficult to turn your life around when you are young.

I think the hardest part of turning your life around, no matter what your age is, is habit. Breaking habits is really really hard. And habits can be mental as well as physical, how you think about things, how you approach things, how you feel about things, a lot of that is habit too. It’s hard to think about and even harder to put in the effort to change. But unless you’re one of those magic people that just always had good habits, it’s worth it.

Yesss. Easier in young age due to our brain being more flexible to changing. But, like you said, still hard because we have a lot of variables along the way. What happens with young people, with therapy, is having a insight but returning to their family, which a lot of the time is what drag them down. Adulthood, we are so used to being X way that the other way around is almost impossible. We can change in both cases, just start small and realistic. Protesilaos Stravou on YouTube has videos that helped me a lot.

That feel when you can be your whole self around someone and only feel warmth and comfort.
