Hey pal, FYI not all NonBinary experiences are the same. I commented sharing my experience. If your experience is different, you could’ve just said that instead of being rude or trying to say I’m wrong for feeling the way I do.

I’ve been harassed, yelled at, and insulted by women in the women’s room, but at least they never physically assaulted me. I don’t know if I could count on the men in the men’s room not to do the same and I’d rather not take the chance. I remember a story about a trans woman who was killed in the men’s room and it still gives me chills thinking about it.

I usually go in the women’s room because people clock me more feminine than masc. Men’s room is very risky because they might not care but they might also be violent. If the bathroom is busy I pee sitting down so no one sees my feet facing the wrong way, I don’t really like it and it feels awkward to do which is why I pee standing up when it’s not busy or no one else is in there. I have been caught a few times and the women gave me shit for it, though it was always yelling, chastising, or slurs, they never got violent with me. Most violent one got was grabbing my ear and escorting me out of the bathroom. I don’t know if I could trust the men to do the same. I heard a story of a trans woman who was physically and sexually assaulted and murdered in a men’s room. That story is very much burned into my mind.

I usually try to avoid public bathrooms in general but lately that’s been harder.

That’s what I usually do. Some people get mad or annoyed with me but I imagine it could be physically dangerous to go into the men’s room.

When you’re Nonbinary every bathroom feels like this, not because you don’t know which is which but because you don’t know which choice is more wrong or will get you in more trouble.

Better way of saying it is that they are bigoted.

I agree, it is very weird for people to try and cater to transphobic/queerphobic people by throwing other queer or trans people under the bus. Bigots aren’t going to be more accepting if we attack each other, it’ll just divide and make us weaker.

I really don’t understand why people gatekeep things they don’t know either, like keep an open mind. There’s tons of shit that you probably don’t know yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s dumb or isn’t real.

The cat ears on top are super impractical, yet super adorable. I love them.

Edit: Actually, hopefully in the future they won’t be as impractical as they are now, maybe some of us will have real, biological cat ears in the future. Hopefully (I certainly do cuz I’m a Therian).

The thing is I have species dysphoria and it’s not something I can control, so calling me crazy for it is as bad as someone saying you’re crazy for you having gender dysphoria. Go fuck yourself!

Couldn’t agree more. The masculinity standards people are held to in society are very hostile and unfair. People should not be expected to be violent or hold back their emotions just because they are male.

This is the kind of reductive, uncharitable take you see on the VAC forums on Steam, I’m surprised you’re expressing such a baseless bad-faith claim here about said person, not a good look for you.

I’m not surprised they deleted their account upon threatening to be banned for being too active, I would probably do the same thing. Especially with my past experiences with @[email protected], he seems like a pompous uptight control freak. Not the kind of person I want having access to my email address and my last known IP logins.

Yeah contrast kind of sucks in a lot of the panels. Probably the only real criticism I had at all for this comic. Had to zoom all the way in to read some of them. Everything else about it though is awesome.
