And now the government is saying he’s a gang member.
Short sided to create software that can identify protestors. Scapegoats change.
I usually vote NDP, as they’ve the most pro-union party. If Canadian sovereignty is on the line, I want the smartest fucking person in charge. I’m lucky that my area always leans left for our MP. For others, I just hope the vote doesn’t get split between NDP and Liberal in more conservative areas.
I’m concerned that if a referendum was conducted, the US could heavily interfere with public opinion and spread misinformation on how good it would be to leave Canada. And if the federal government shut down the referendum, the US would use that as an excuse to use their military to “liberate” Alberta.
I saw this guy on the SF video by Channel 5. Used to be a drug dealer. The fucking sad thing is he’d film unhoused people doing drugs and yelling at them “there’s kids around here!”
So raping kids is fine to this degen, but don’t let the kids see poverty on the streets.
Mush mush. Her real name is Altima.
FFS, this guy thinks it’s a prix fixe menu!
It’s a shame that the dishwasher the landlord installed has a shitty soap compartment that sometimes failed to open during the wash. When I tried to take it apart to see what the issue was, I couldn’t get it back in. So now I just chuck the puck in.
My parents were really adamant about not leaving any food on plates, so it really doesn’t make a difference to me.
Aren’t these the same people saying the YMCA song isn’t gay? Am I having a stroke?

Based on what I’ve experienced, it’s the former. Reddit’s content has not improved since Apollo was no longer supported and the great Lemmy exodus occurred.
How many employees does Intel have!? We have a free coffee program that I manage at my work and it works out to $35k USD per year. Granted we only have about 1200 employees, but scale it up to 120,000 and it’s still 3.5mil.
Ah. In that case, I think associations like CycleTO would need to launch a lawsuit against the provincial government to reverse the decision. The government lost big time on bill 124, which shows that our rights win out over time, as long as we’re willing to fight stupid ideas in court.
Toronto wouldn’t enforce a bike ban. They can’t even enforce their existing e-scooter ban.
Fun fact. You can piss your pants in front of a cop and they can’t arrest you!
Bill 212 is in the Ontario government’s website and is open for comments. Let Doug know to keep his fat fingers off our bike lanes.
I don’t think Stephen Colbert was being serious when he said that quote. Mind you, all the quote sites that cite him saying that do not provide the source. Based on his persona from The Colbert Report, I imagine this was part of a joke, especially given the names he called out.
I’ll take a restaurant full of disfigured people over 1 misbehaving toddler.
I think it’s more accurate that they fed the troll. Eating the onion specifically refers to reacting seriously to a parody news source.
