I feel like people who say this just don’t know the insanely good games that exists for VR. Lone echo 1 and 2, moss 1 and 2, vertigo 1 and 2, windlands 1 and 2, asgard’s wrath 1 and 2, behemoth, boneworks, grimlord, legendary tales, blade and sorcery, eye of the temple, until you fall, underdogs, walking dead saints and sinners, wanderer, robinson: the journey … and those are just some of my personal favorites. There are a lot of great VR games!

There’s probably also an enterprise monthly fee like most other enterprise headsets. If this is the perfect tool for some engineering or design job that will make a lot of money then it makes sense but idk who uses these and not a standard consumer headset.

The issue is that there aren’t good competitors to the meta quest platform that does what i need. They poored tons of cash in developing it and it shows compared to other brands. The closest i could be interested in would be by HTC or Pymax but the new valve deckard and samsung’s project moohan will come out this year anyways so i’m not gonna switch just yet. I’ve been looking forward to ditching meta for years without real options for me unfortunately.

I played most of my VR years on a GTX 970. I had to put most games very low for them to run well but the fun was there! Blade and sorcery, boneworks and half life alyx already ran ok on that old hardware! Today my on the go setup is a handheld lenovo legion go and it’s great fun!

Today’s gamers just want slots machines on their phone! You guys have phones right?

I remember you saying it and it’s also my main pcvr headset lol i was just thinking that when the deckard comes out i might still use the quest pro as my main work monitor replacement and sell my quest 2 and maybe my legion go as well since it might do everything that i have these devices for.

The quest pro could have been so much more if they just worked with all it’s strength more. What a waste. It’s still a great headset but it feels like they broke both of it’s knees to make sure it never stands. Like they didn’t want it to succeed.
