You have the right to guzzle bleach if you choose also… just sayin’.
I don’t typically have morning-after effects; though infrequently certain herb may do so
I have definite temp prefs for every device. My Tinymight2 I generally keep at 7 for quality herb, lower if dry. I have 2 ball vapes and the temps will vary based on a lot of things. Bowl material and depth, and the material of the heater as well as the type of pearls in the heater. It took a lot of personal jiggering about and experimentation but once zeroed in, I always have the right temp at hand. PID setting can be as low as 575F with a Titanium housing full of rubies on a short boro microdosing bowl up to 660-680F in a quartz housing on a tall boro bowl.
Yep, that’s the plan!
Need to? Of course not. I’d even venture to say that a great many who vape also like bongs or joints. Not me personally; I tried several times after going full on to vaping and I have to say the taste made me gag. It is like what I imagine licking a dirty ashtray might taste like.
EDIT: Re-reading this, it came off somehow “elitist”-sounding, and that’s about the last impression I want to give. I started smoking herb in 1974 and did so to one degree or another (or ANOTHER, lol) until 4 or 5 years ago. I’d had a heart attack and getting the smoke out was a big consideration for me. Edible forms are decidedly NOT MY FRIENDS, unfortunately. I recalled once having used a Volcano owned by my daughter’s friend and being pretty impressed, until I was told the price. Upon getting my first vape, I was a quickly a convert. I’ll admit to “proselytizing” a bit as I firmly believe in the difference in health risk between burning it and vaporizing. I’ve also known a lot of people for whom vaping just does not do it. Given I feel that way about edibles, I’m thinking the differing ways we react to the stuff may not only involve the particulars about the herb your are consuming, but how you consume it as well.
tl;dr: Sorry if that sounded snooty or something. [7] if that means anything to you :)
r/trees was the largest sub dedicated to cannabis in general. It is the habit of referring to those that frequented the trees as “ents” that morphed into “vaporents” as a discrete sub-community of weed enthusiasts who eschew combustion.
Count me in that. Left when rif bit the dust.
I have a couple of QaromaShop ball vapes, a Qaroma and a Taroma 2.0. They account for 90% of my vaping while at home, vast majority of it the Taroma. I have a titanium bowl for the Taroma; that pairing being the closest analog to a B0/Shovelhead setup in my arsenal.
I have to imagine this is actually going to make it MORE likely that this vehicle gets damaged. Just not accidentally.
Just found out where folks are going… haven’t touched reddit since the fiasco.
I can comment on some of the QaromaShop stuff; I have both the Qaroma and the Taroma 2.0. Contrary to what some have said about ball vapes all being more or less the same, I’ve found that this is not the case.
Both the head design and housing material affect draw, flavor and effective extraction temperature.
Whether the difference is appreciable to one ent vs. another is purely personal taste. My Qaroma (fused quartz) has very different flavor than the titanium Taroma, at the cost of a significantly higher operating temperature.
In my opinion, though these units cost more than a DIY option, these are a buy-it-for-life item and worth the one time added expense.
