  • My grandmother was on one of these trains. I’ll never forget the story of her survival.

She got onto a train carrying her disabled brother. There were carriages transporting Gur (raw cane sugar blocks), and many people hid inside the bags. People came on board and started slicing into the bags, killing as many people as they could as quickly as they could.
My grandmother and her brother hid behind a bunch of bags, rather than inside, which allowed them to have some barrier due to how thick the Gur is. I was told this was the last train out of Lahore, headed to Delhi, though I’m not entirely sure on the exact route.

  • I’m afraid I cannot be of help, you see I had the same issue. My current pillow was obtained after years of searching, from perhaps thousands, if not billions of pillows tested.
I know not of its name, nor origins. It satisfies me, though I often wonder what would happen once this pillow meets the same fate as the others. Tagless, innards squished to where they shall expand no more… I would like to say this keeps me up at night, though it’s a decent pillow. Good luck on your quest.

I’m here rallying against the other woke agenda.

How dare people expect me to have less than 12 hours of sleep?! Have they seen my bed? Have they felt it?? Most certainly not!
Eat a brownie and have a nap! The man has no jurisdiction under these comfy covers!!!

  • I am born and raised in London, and also spent some time living in Wales.

The pun is well understood, and obviously referring to the fungus as a tongue in cheek sort of humour. I find it more difficult trying to figure out how anyone here would be confused by that.

  • Their fault. I remember a time when publishers allowed for people to run their own dedicated servers, for FPS at least. They could have modified that existing model, but instead they took that ability away from the user whilst almost simultaneously making excuses about the problem they created.

If their servers can’t run forever, give us dedicated servers on a larger scale FFS!

As a home user the OS thing is preference, some prefer Windows, some Mac, some Linux, etc.

Your post however raises a good point, and it certainly makes me form an opinion in a greater context. Thanks for making me think about this, genuinely - it’s good to have opinions challenged.

  • I can agree to a great degree to be honest. Sometimes it’s nice to have a smoke without worrying if my mind is coming back from Mars or not.

I can’t speak too much on the matter though. I just recently harvested some extremely potent weed. However I’ve grown some cultivars with higher amounts of CBD, and have personally noticed less of that THC head-change when there is CBD there.

Maybe consider either a 1:1 THC:CBD strain/cultivar, or if you’re able to: grow your own. There are some varieties with high THC though also including some CBD, as auto flowers which are generally quite good for beginners to advanced growers and low maintenance for the most part.

Edit: another suggestion is to just buy some CBD flower, and mix it into your bowls/joints/blunts for some counter to the negatives of THC.

  • Seems like your opinion on it is based around you not having a good contact back then. For example here in the UK I’ve never seen brick weed, the closest is Jamaican sess and that was very rare too.

Weed isn’t that much stronger, people just have better access to good weed and people know how to grow it better. I was smoking what would be considered top shelf today, almost 20 years ago.

The one thing that has changed a lot is genetic diversity in regards to terpene expressions.
