I’m not saying this applies to Roman, but in regards to how other countries treat Israel I’m repasting my comment here because it answers your question.
America has sent 300 billion, adjusted for inflation, now to Israel. The first thing America did after voting against a humanitarian ceasefire, very recently, was sign off on another 14.5 billion dollars straight to Israel.

Anything, anything happening in the world on the scale and level such as what we see with Palestine is a function of fiscal gain.
