That sounds awesome. Do you have a pic you can share?

You know, that’s not the answer I would have come up with first on my own, but it’s a great answer.
I’m not that guy (the one you asked to reply…), but I will say this as a lover of the first two games - play them. They are remarkable games and 20ish years after coming out I still play them (and do so regularly). If you’re a younger gamer you may find the interface or the graphics a bit clunky, but really, you ought to give them a go.
From my time on the Baldurs Gate subreddit, it seems like 3 was less story connected (per others’ comments), but that was before some of the added characters were announced (e.g. Minsc). That said, I haven’t played 3 at all, so I can’t comment personally.
tl;dr: I don’t know if you’ll be missing out in the story by starting with 3, but you should definitely play 1 & 2 because they’re incredible games.
When I lived in Vegas my apartment complex would regularly drop blocks of ice in the pool in the summer. Surely we can scale that shit up for the oceans, right? …Right?
Isn’t a product of the fediverse yet.
That looks absolutely pleasant. I would fall asleep so fast in that setup. Well done!
Pork belly burnt ends are next on my list of things to make.
I hate that this counts as “news.”
I fully expect the defense to be, “Well, we can’t discriminate based on the applicant’s race, sex, religion, etc… but the constitution doesn’t say anything about discrimination based on legacy status.”
I love whoopie slings - glad they worked out for you!
That’s awesome! Where were you (roughly)?
This just sounds like too much work to me. I mean to each their own, so rock on if that’s what works for you. I just know I’d end up forgetting which account I was subbed into, and within the course of 1-2 months my communities would be a mashed up mess.
Took a trip a few weeks back to Uwharrie National Forest in NC. It was just one night, but man it was needed, and fun. I’m not sure what the summer has in store, if anything. Two young kids and what not = limited options. But here’s hoping…!
Fahrenheit 451 intensifies.
I think my biggest frustration is feeling like I am missing communities based on my instance. I have 2 accounts on different instances, 1 I created a few weeks ago and 1 I created a few days ago. On my newer account, I couldn’t find half the communities I was looking for unless I dropped a direct link into the search (looking just for the name didn’t turn anything up). And then when I did finally find them, the subscriber number was different (like 1 community had 100+ subscribers on my first account, but the same community only showed like 2 or 3 subscribers on my second account). Anyway I’m sure user error plays a role in this, but it is not intuitive to me, just yet anyway.
Ooooh, that sounds way better than one of those “pour boiling water into this pouch and wait 5 minutes” meals.
