Seriously, if you can’t afford to tip your servers at a sit-down restaurant (in places that pay below minimum wage for servers), then you can’t afford to eat there. It’s not some life hack, you’re just being a piece of shit and the only thing you are accomplishing is fucking over your fellow worker. If you don’t want to tip, don’t eat at places with table service.

There is a small but self-sustaining breeding population of cougars living in the Adirondacks and possibly most of upstate New York, but this will never be officially confirmed by the various government environmental agencies because then they would have to take real action to protect them. Cougars have everything they need there and there’s really no reason to believe they’re just walking 1800 miles and not breeding.

I definitely went through a period where I liked some of that music, but I can’t stand to listen to any of it now. Probably the fastest 180 I’ve ever had towards an entire genre of music.

From what I’ve read, the symptoms from both of these episodes are more consistent with a TIA. He hasn’t confirmed anything, all we got from the last one was his handlers saying that “he’s fine” (this is definitely a normal thing that happens to people who are fine btw).

I play bagpipes semi-professionally. The overwhelming majority of people do not like bagpipe music, and even if they do, they don’t want to hear much about my bagpiping antics. One good thing is that I will never struggle to answer the dreaded “what’s one interesting fact about yourself” icebreaker.

Honestly it was a process and it helped that I am a chemist, but it was so worth it. You will need everclear or equivalent (190 proof ethanol) and a metal mesh coffee filter.

1. Grind and decarb at least an eighth, 245F in the oven for 40 minutes.

2. Put it in a jar/bottle with a lid (mason jar would be ideal) and add 4oz of alcohol for every eight of weed. Shake the hell out of it, and let it mascerate. The longer you let it sit, the stronger it will be, but also the grassier it will taste. A lot of sources will tell you to wait at least two weeks, but as someone who does ethanol extractions professionally, 24 hours will be more than enough to get like 98% of the nonpolar compounds (including all the cannabinoids) into solution. Shake it periodically if you can.

3. Strain it through the coffee filter (metal, not paper, because paper will absorb the oils and complicate things) into a shallow container with good surface area, like a rectangular pyrex or similar.

4. Leave this uncovered to allow the alcohol to evaporate, which will take at least a few days. You can take this as far as you’d like, but eventually the cannabis oil will fall out of solution (you’ll see dark globules start to form) at which point it’s definitely ready.

5. Dilute what you have remaining with MCT oil. I started with 4oz of alcohol mixture, evaporated down to just a few milliliters, and then diluted with MCT oil back up to about an ounce, which I put in a dropper.

You will have to shake before use, but that’s pretty much it.

Edit: you can speed up the evaporation step by using a rice cooker or slow cooker on low with water in it and making a double boiler. DO NOT PUT THE ALCOHOL SOLUTION ANYWHERE NEAR OPEN FLAME.
