My experience making sushi is that it is very time consuming to prepare. The rice needs to be made in advance to cool with the rice vinegar seasoning, then you have to cut the fish, assemble everything (nigiris are easier, but makis/uramakis are a bit more involved to get wright).

I’m curious if your experience is similar.

Calibre is great for book management. I use Thunderbird for my email/calendar since I’m on Linux and have never even though of changing. Works like a charm and it does everything I need it to.

Other software I use and recommend are:

• Web browser: Firefox
• Image and drawing: GIMP and Inkscapr
• Plain text editing and programming: Neovim
• PDF reader: Okular
• Media player: VLC
• Terminal: Alacritty (main terminal) and Yakuake (to have a terminal that I can easily access and then hide)

I lote it! It captures the feel of a mossy, humid mountainside so well.

I also have to say that the room it’s in is incredible. It looks so cozy!
