    Is this his idea, or the worm’s idea? Genuinely curious.

    And I am fully aware that the worm is dead and very likely necrotic.

      Are we sure it’s dead? This feels more like bad Sci-fi. Clearly the worm has taken control of the host.

        I am a worm speaking through my host right now and I’ll tell ya buddy. This ain’t one of ours talking.

        I’m a tapeworm though, maybe worms that don’t have to work so hard to get to the brain and control the host are trying to find reasons to get a bunch of humans in close proximity together under conditions that make it easy for them to spread.
