I don’t think an ostrich in a zoo would be any weirder to him than a gorilla in a zoo is to us. Speaking of gorillas - when I was at the San Diego Zoo, they had a group of gorillas just chilling out quietly in their enclosure while the humans outside were going crazy waving their arms around and making hooting noises.
Yes, this is almost always the case, lol. I have an annual pass to the San Diego Zoo and I have often observed tourists acting silly and the gorillas just sorta eyeballing them like “seriously, chill”.
