I’ve done juste that. I pasted https://lemmy.ml/c/worldnews in the searchbox of sh.itjust.works and pressed search but nothing happens. I selected all in the menu.
Just searching “world news” brings it right up for me. The URL definitely should work too.

The search box in your instance is actually what I meant:
The difference between this and just searching for ‘World News’ is that if you do it this way, it will force your instance to index that instance if it hasn’t already done so. (You might get no results for a few moments after you click Search, only for it to then appear - that’s the delay while it’s indexed.) Obviously sh.itjust.works already knows about lemmy.ml, so it’s academic here, but when I made the suggestion, we didn’t know what instance they were looking for. :)
