No, that’s “Ethnic cleansing”. Genocide is actions which will stop a group from existing. The word literally translates as “the killing of a race (genus)”. If a group is moved, it still exists as long as it’s still together.

If you inflate what is going on, it just allows your enemies to do exactly as you say and go “Well TECHNICALLY it’s not genocide”. You want to nail them to the wall for what they are actually doing so they can’t escape.

I’m not an international Court or judge or anything, nor do I think I have the be all end all of opinions.
So I don’t think there’s any harm in me “calling it like I see it” even if it is a bit early and not 100% technically accurate.
