    Considering how much Netanyahu generally avoids offending Moscow, this is actually kinda interesting in terms of the follow-on effects it might have. I’m pretty confident Russia isn’t going to try to calm the situation. Putin wants the world to be chaotic, especially now. It materially helps his geopolitical goals if his adversaries are distracted by multiple serious matters.

      Israel and Russia have been covert allies since before Israel was formally recognized as a state. My suspicions about the nature of the Crossfire Hurricane dossier were right on the money.

        Whatever his goals are, creating more media worthy events helps obfuscation and that’s just basic art of war.
