Republican presidential candidate Trump had to be asked twice during a televised town hall event in Iowa to deny that he would abuse power to seek revenge on political opponents if re-elected to the White House.

“No. No. Other than day one,” Trump said when asked to deny he would become a “dictator” if he wins the November election.

Trump said on the “day one” he referred to, he would use his presidential powers to close the southern border with Mexico and expand oil drilling.

Trump, seeking a second White House term in a likely election re-match with Democratic President Joe Biden, has frequently promised “retribution” on political opponents if he gains power again.

It’s kind of insane that a US Presidential candidate would even need to defend themselves from an accusation like that in the first place. Usually that’s just a given, that’s like a basic qualification for the job.

Well you see, his supporters want him to be a dictator. They support him because he’s against everything the system stands for, the same system they feel cheats them and doesn’t work for them. No thought to the alternative mind you, just an anti status quo vote

They also like him because he hates the same people they hate.

What they don’t realize is that he hates them too.

They know he wants to become a dictator. They’re lying. They don’t care or actively want him to become a dictator.

"We will go out and find the conspirators, not just in government but in the media… We’re going to come after you—whether it’s criminal or civilly, we’ll figure that out. But yeah, we’re putting you all on notice and Steve, this is why they hate us. This is why we’re tyrannical.”

    — Trump adviser Kash Patel, in an interview with Steve Bannon, saying Donald Trump is serious about revenge.

Uhh the headline leaves out the most important part of the quote - “except on day one.” So, yes, he did confirm he’d be a dictator!

He literally says he will be a dictator on day one, so how the fuck does the media come up with this title?

I swear the fucking incompetent and dishonest media is 100% why he won in 2016, and it’s why he will win in 2024.

    Pinky promise.

He would still call himself a president like his pals, Vlad and the Rocket Man.

It’s not the weight that’s dangerous for him on the ice. It’s his tiny feet. All that weight pressed on a tiny little area of ice. Everyone knows when you’re on thin ice you have to distribute your weight. Trump cannot do that because his feet and even his hands are so weirdly small and little-kid like that he will poke right through like an obese orange ice pick. Probably a product of inbreeding. You don’t get tiny deformed little feet like that without some cousin fucking and crossed branches in your family tree.
