    That’s what happens when someone is able to admit they’re not an expert at everything and they surround themselves with people who are.

      It’s really cool to see. I did not have high hopes for Biden for a lot of his older policy decisions I didn’t agree with, but I’m extremely impressed with what he’s managed to do for civil rights and social awareness in his first term.

      The risk in that is that those “experts” might have their own interests. For compamies usually

        And the alternative is having people who don’t know shit about fuck making decisions potentially based on their own interests.

          Independent experts that at least somehow try to be neutral. And politicians who have to reason their decisions.

            A couple off the top of my head:

            • Chemical Safety Board (check out their YouTube channel)
            • National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
            • National Fire Protection Association

            All are subject matter experts that contribute to laws and policy decisions to varying degrees.
