    Mr Rogers was a muhfuckin treasure. Stood before a hostile congress and won them over with sheer wholesomeness. PBS would likely not exist without that landmark testimony.

            It’s wild, an actual minister who dedicated his life to teaching compassion and empathy, evil. That really does tell me everything I need to know about them. I grew up on Mr. Roger’s, like others have said, the man was a Saint. They knew what they were saying was a lie. They’re propagandists, projecting again; they’re the evil ones.

              To me this is wholly unsurprising. That the mouthpiece for the party most for the suffering of Humanity as a whole would demonize an effective force for empathy, kindness, and humanity. Just one of many cases of accusations on their parts in place being confessions.

      I wish he won them over. He beat them. They couldn’t well vote against it after his testimony could they, otherwise everyone would have known then what a bunch of trash conservatives are.
