Wait, why is he reinstating the account? Boy I’m really starting to slide over to “he’s trying to destroy Twitter on purpose” from “he’s just very, very stupid.”

Your boy Hanlon would like to remind you

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

I know, I know, but I’m trying to see doing something like this as just plain stupidity and it’s hard for me to accept that this is just stupid Elon being stupid.

Yeah, I’m not personally attributing malice, I’ve just felt like it’s a bit of a show of power/absurdity of wealth that he can kind of accidentally buy one of the largest companies, mess with it for the lulz without caring about the consequences. It seems like the stupidity I would have done of I was a billionaire when I was a nihilistic teen high on chans boards.

I counter your ‘Hanlon’s Razor’ with what I call ‘Hanlon’s Face’:

Never attribute to stupidity that which is indistinguishable from malice. A cut to the face bleeds no matter the cause.

Calling the diver a pedophile was always projection. He just wants more content for personal use.
