Lesbian is defined by attraction to women with female parts.you aren’t a lesbian if you are attracted to penises. And if you’re not but in the relationship anyway it sounds like a shitty way to live.

Actually the definition is as simple as this: “a woman who is sexually or romantically attracted exclusively to other women; a gay woman.”

There is absolutely no mention of genitals in there. Also some people are asexual, but can still be in a relationship. You’re just adding boundaries to what a lesbian is that are non-existent.

I’m pretty sure a woman has female parts whatever those parts are.

          A woman’s feet.
          A woman’s nose.
          A woman’s penis.

A lesbian—being attracted to women—could be attracted to any of those parts.

No I’m not, and you’re about three levels behind contemporary gender theory.

“Sex and gender are different!” is some Genderbread Person level understanding that I won’t assent to.

How we use them in everyday speech is interchangeable.

              Trans women are female.
Trans women have female bodies and female anatomy.
Trans women have female endocrine systems.

I won’t let you set up trans women to be othered.

Except when we need specificity, like in this incredibly stupid argument you’re having (with someone else, I’ll note, not me; I just chimed in to tell you you’re both stupid)

And specifically it’s a woman’s female penis, being engaged sexually by the woman it’s attached to’s lesbian lover. What are you not getting?

See it is though. I’ve seen lovely happy couples—both women—where one or both of the women have penises.

They’re in successful lesbian relationships without your permission or approval.

They drink gay tea, live gay lives, and gaily care for their gay little cats unaffected one bit by your being wrong about who they are in love with.

… I have a question about those gay cats. Did they go to a special breeder to get them?
Because for the life of me I can’t figure out how that would work.

Sorry, I don’t mean to make light of your comment. I’m glad to see anyone in a successful relationship, that’s precious enough on its own. Regardless of who you are or what you have.

I shouldn’t have to tell you a breeder is the last place they would go.
