I used to do this on purpose. Dress up nice in a suit and just have a chill day - maybe hit up a cafe or something.

Been a while since I did that, though. Should honestly give it another go sometime.

    I have this x100 .

I have a wardrobe full of good clothes, that never get worn because I’m saving them for some future event that never happens.

Treat yourself! Looking good is its own reward. Unless the good outfits are easily stained and/or dry clean only, in which case you already are. Now excuse me as I continue my solitary ballroom gown garbed cake and beer binge.

The upside of having to wear a uniform to work is not worrying about having a “good” outfit for the office. We all wear the same shit every day and it’s great. When I am at home or when I go out, I worry about comfort more than style.

Yeah i used to have to do it and it does put a stop to one upping each other in the shop but the uniforms we had were very thin and did diddly to keep anyone warm

We have cozy company sweaters if we get cold, which I always am lol. We even got a thing to put on the AC vent to redirect the air flow so it wouldn’t blow on me all the time.
