This year I’m growing chiltepin, habanero, pablano, gochugary, and Thai.

The chiltepins are tiny but I really love them. I’m hoping to get enough this year to pickle a small batch.

I’m growing my hot sauce collection in the fridge. Requires no water or attention.

But seriously I might do habaneros

This year I mostly just grow from seedsof last year. I started this year’s ago. Original seed were from a spirale chilli bought in Turkey, obviously a hybrid. 4 years later they are basically just Cayenne, but tastes great. It is probably a mix of the original spirals and some other peppers i had during that time.

So, this year only 1 Tabasco and 3 Cayenne of my own brand. I have too many tomatoes and cucumbers for more than 4 peppers this year.

Just chiltepin here. I grow them for the mockingbirds, but I enjoy crunching on them while I’m out in the garden.

Oh they absolutely have. Birds can’t taste capsaicin, so it’s the plant’s “strategy” to get its seeds dispersed far and wide.
