That is ok, climate change will delete florida
The legislation, along with two other bills Mr. DeSantis signed on Wednesday, “will keep windmills off our beaches, gas in our tanks, and China out of our state,” the governor wrote on the social media platform X. “We’re restoring sanity in our approach to energy and rejecting the agenda of the radical green zealots.”
The Republican Party truly is a party for the dumb and the mentally damaged.
If we don’t acknowledge it, then it doesn’t exist!
Christianity in action
I don’t see how middle-aged+ conservatives can be in denial. I’ve seen some shit in my time. In just 18-years of living in Florida, the weather has changed dramatically.
It almost never freezes in the winter and the summers are hotter, and especially drier. Wife and I have done a lot of landscaping and gardening this year. All I can think is what a bitch it’s going to be when it doesn’t rain for 2 MONTHS.
Because it’s more convenient for them to ignore it, and they’re generally close-minded.
It is because it is part of the culture wars, in which anything advocated by a Democrat regardless of how much it’s simply common sense, how objective, how beneficial, or even how conservative something is - even if it had been previously proposed by a Republican - it must be opposed on principle because it came from a Democrat.
They’re not governing. They have no intention of doing so. We’re down to knee-jerk opposition for the sake of it, using whatever excuses come to hand.
I don’t know about the US, but winters in Europe are getting longer and colder. This winter was bloody brutal.
I don’t think that applies to Europe in general. Here in Southern Germany, we had a pretty brutal coldsnap back in November, but that was followed up by summer weather in December and then mild winter in January, February.
One thing, that was pretty universal across the globe for the past months, is more precipitation, because the oceans are so hot right now and therefore more water evaporates.
So, if you’re in a place where clouds often rain off, that could have definitely amplified the cold.Well, winter weather in the UK only ended in early May. It was still snowing in Latvia and Moscow in early may. I had to go to Latvia in January, it was unusually cold there. As well as being unusually cold in UK.
Jesus. Republicans really love doing the opposite of what’s good and right don’t they?
So they’re forgoing FEMA assistance and relief for “natural” disasters?
